Welcome to the CNU Ornithology Blog. The purpose of this site is to create a working document that highlights our weekly field trips and provides students a way to share their birdie discoveries with fellow classmates and whoever else might be interested in following what you are doing as you wander around with your binoculars. Portions of the blog will be completed by assignments, while other additions are purely voluntary.
While my camera isn't too good at long-range shots, I was able to get a few distinct pictures of ring-billed gulls at Mrytle Beach, and one of wild turkeys at nearby Brookgreen Gardens.
